For the purpose of providing continuity, a variety of people in our community formed a Board of Directors for the Search For Peace. The Board is composed of invited leaders from the educational, business, ecclesial, social service and law enforcement communities of Missoula County
The Next board Meeting will be announced.

The purpose of this meeting is to do a thorough evaluation of what we have done and where we have been during the past nine months.  It would be helpful as we go forward in planning for the 2008 Search to articulate as accurately as we can

1. what we did well and should therefore keep/repeat,
2. what we did not do so well and should therefore eliminate or strengthen, and
3. what we need to add/do/initiate to make the 2008 SFP more widely known and attractive to more participants.

If you could spend some time before the meeting thinking about these concerns---and jotting down some notes---it would make our time together more productive.

Also, please consider whether you think it would be helpful to add several more members to the Board.  If so, what sectors of our community should they represent?  What areas of expertise would be helpful for them to bring?  Do you have some names to suggest?

It has been suggested that we form a small cadre of folks who are committed to publicizing the SFP though a variety of formal and informal ways.  Do you have any thoughts about this?

Fund-raising obviously needs to continue.  Besides sending letters (as we did last winter), do you have thoughts about fundraisers that might be doable for us?

As usual, don't forget to bring your appointment book with you.

Thanks for all you are doing to advance the SFP in Missoula!
